williamsburg, brooklyn has a new resident on its streets: The William Vale Hotel or otherwise known as, 55 Wythe Avenue. Designed by Aldo Lamberis, this 21-story mixed use building boasts an array of AMENITIES: a 60 foot long pool (New york Cities LONGEST), a 15,000 square foot "private park" on its rooftop, and Manhattan views like none other. This futuristic structure wouldn't be complete without an equally cool elevator. The new Elevators feature a unique blend of hand-carved wooden overlays, smoked mirrors, stainless steel, natural stone, and graphic vinyl; reassuring riders that every moment at this luxury hotel is as cool as the neighborhood they are staying in.

The materials involved include the following

  • Drop Ceiling: faced with stainless steel in plain black satin.

  • lighting: perimeter LIGHTING above drop ceiling.

  • wall panels: Faced with wooden overlays over a safety laminated smoked mirror. Center panels feature a custom graphic vinyl on tempered clear glass. all panels wrapped in stainless steel plain black satin binders.

  • frieze, reveals, & base: faced with stainless steel in plain black satin.

  • floor: faced with natural stone.
